This talk would be perfect for any of the groups.
I’ve been a WordPress Developer since 2010 and have spoken at two WordCamps and organized WordCamp CT in 2014. I’ve also run 2 different WP meetups and offer online and in-person WordPress training. I learned a lot from the WordPress community and am always trying to pay it forward.

WordPress Community Interview With Marco Andrei Kichalowsky, Rodrigo Donini, Gustavo Tagliassuchi and Eduardo Pittol

When I first contacted Marco Andre about doing an interview, he stated that he would like to have some of the other organizers sit in and take part in the interview.

I did not realize how lucky I would get to interview the group while they were preparing for their Meetup.

Marco Andrei, Rodrigo, Gustavo and Eduardo were part of the ograinzing team for WordCamp Porto Alegre 2017, which was held on May 6th of this year. WordCamp Porto Alegre has been held three times in the past few years and this group hopes to make this an annual event.

We talk about their involvement in the WordPress Community, as well as being involved in other tech related groups in their area.

In preparation for their evening WordPress Porto Alegre Meetup, Marco Andrei, Rodrigo,  Gustavo and Eduardo had prepared a cake and cupcakes to celebrate the 14th anniversary of WordPress. Here is a short video of that event.

Here is the interview….

WordCamp Video Highlight 2016/11/25

Before I get to the video highlights this week, I wanted to put out a call to action.

While searching for videos to highlight I came across the fact that there are only 109 videos from WordPress Meetups. I took a quick look at Meetup.com and found out that there are over 1,100 WordPress Meetup groups with 376,000 members. I know it can be inconvenient to setup a video camera to record a meeting but I think that these would be a fantastic addition to WordPress TV. You can upload WordPress related videos on the WordPress TV Submit Page.

Now….on to the videos!
